Overview

After the previous summer, Moira and the twins want nothing more than to return to their normal lives. Brody seems determined to date every girl he sees, while Moira faces several new challenges; a move to Cape Cod, a new school, an overeager first date, an identity crisis - does she want to be a witch, or doesn't she? Only her journal knows for sure. But it is Braidy who must struggle with the most serious dilemma, as her obsession with the mysterious Jonathan becomes increasingly intense. Meanwhile, Alex makes another attempt to bring the Dumari under his control. When danger once again threatens, will Moira make the right choice - or will her temper get the better of her once again? Praise for The Dumari Chronicles: Year One "...Exceptionally well written, The Dumari Chronicles stands out in the field of action/adventure fantasy...the characters, the language, and the settings are thoroughly American...[it] is highly entertaining..." - The Midwest Book Review "[The Dumari Chronicles] may be just what bereaved Harry Potter fans need...this book is, in many ways, the total opposite of the Harry Potter series...the climactic wrap-up leaves one with interesting, unanswered questions..." - The Book Trolley
