LIFE for dogs and other people

For many years Deirdre Golden has been writing poems and publishing them in booklets, under the pen name P.D.Pemberton. These have been enjoyed by her friends so it seemed that there could be many others who would be equally entertained by her perceptive wit, with its insights into the variety of life. Most of the illustrations on the covers of the booklets were done by Peter Lavender, whilst the drawings of dogs, several of which are distributed within this Anthology, are by her late husband, Paul Golden. The current cover is by Nigel Corlett. The title for the Anthology recognises Deirdre's love, and support, for animals, and the care and concern which she believes should be extended equally to all creatures.
