Joan's Journey

From her humble beginnings on a poor farm in Rogersville, Indiana, Joan Wile held a variety of jobs and eventually entered the world of politics and government in Madison County, Indiana. In time, she would become an elected official, hold leadership positions, and serve on a congressional staff. Her journey would even take her to Washington as a guest of the Vice President of the United States. Along the way, she married, raised four boys, mourned the death of her oldest son, and found solace in her faith in God. Her life has been filled with great joy, deep pain and incredible surprises. As Joan tells her story, you will laugh with her, cry with her, and be amazed at all that God can do through one woman.
