What do you love about old barns? I love to photograph barns because most of them are no longer here. Each barn has a story and when you add in the seasons, it is nostalgic. Great old wooden barns are no longer built today with such character and personality. Photographing barns helps me to go back and remember playing with my brothers and sisters on the family farm in Highland County. As a kid, I spent many hours working and playing in the barn.
