Dreams: The First Voyage

Young Ziggy Sterns' solitary life was going nowhere. Occasional attempts to change had been unenthusiastic. He was 16, intellectual, tall and so out of shape that his video games tired him out. He was holed-up in the family's ocean-view cottage in Florida, while his parents spent the summer in France. Then, one night, he dropped off into a deep sleep and a dream that was more than a dream. He woke up in another world, or another time; he could never discover which. After fighting his way through wars -- and love affairs. He woke up, physically and mentally changed, back in his Florida life. Appalled with the oppressive state of the U.S., Ziggy can only wait, longingly, for his next 'dream'.
