Division of Laboratory Sciences

In the first decade of this new century, scientists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's) Division of Laboratory Sciences have lots to be excited about. The results of our laboratory achievements over the last 30 years have led to significant improvements in public health. Sophisticated equipment and state-of-the-art facilities are critical to that effort, but it's the ingenuity of the Division's staff that makes the difference. The CDC and the public health community salute the quality of our work as we head into the future. This brochure offers a brief glimpse of our many and diverse programs.
