This book comes from a challenge I gave myself a year ago. I wanted to list one miracle a day, for a month, to see how God was working in my life. Sometimes we don't appreciate what God IS doing in our lives until we sit down and start looking back at what He HAS done. It was easy, at first, to remember the obvious miracles but the challenge came about a week into the assignment. I had to re-think my ideas about what constituted a miracle. "A Month of Miracles" is a devotional challenge to take time to recognize the miracles in your own life. We experience amazing occurrences we can only deem as miraculous but there are small, seemingly insignificant events which are miracles as well. Compassion, mercy, comfort, courage, and human love are just a few of the miracles covered in this book. Each day, for a month, a different miracle is presented with a Bible passage, key verse, reflection, and an opportunity for the reader to apply the lesson to their own life. After a month, it is the author's hope each reader will recognize God working in their lives and will share the miracles with others.
