How to get Work

Introduction During my 34 years as a working adult I have had the opportunity to interview for and gain several positions. Along the way I have developed strategies for raising your chances of getting the position. While there is no guarantee, the following ideas are real food for thought and may just make you a star! A Context Let's assume that you just graduated from college and now you are joining the vast pool of unemployed candidates. Hopefully you started your search before you graduated, but we will assume the worst and start from the beginning. Remember, nobody owes you work. The boss wants you for the tasks you can do for him or her.
