Merry Mari

Merry Mari was written by Celia Siiri Laakso Hoyt as a loving tribute to her mother, Maria Sofia Kankaanpaa Laakso, after she died in 1986. This story is based on Maria's childhood and shows what it might have been like to be a young girl growing up in Finland during the early years of the twentieth century.
