Bessie The Big Game Hunter

Bessie is a Basset Hound and like all hounds has a great sense of smell. Her long ears help when she is looking for little creatures who live underground, since they help to cup the smell. She is a little lazy, likes to sleep in the sun, loves her big sister Elsie, and food. Bessie does not run fast but when it comes to smelling a chipmunk, no one can dig faster than she with her large paws and powerful little short legs. She rarely catches anything, but she keeps on trying.
