Each case an actual one he personally was involved in, many where he was the polygraph examiner determining whether the subject was lying or telling the truth. There is the case of the first defector of the Vietnam War; a young Marine who gave secrets to the Soviets in exchange for sex; a sailor who had intentions of sinking a nuclear submarine; F-14 aircraft sabotage; a terrorist group in Greece; a sailor's drowning which turned out to be a hoax.
