Tyrone's New Life

Tyrone Lamar III, an eleven year old native of New Orleans, Louisiana moves to Franklin, Louisiana after his father is murdered on his way home from a movie theatre. He moves in with his grandparents, Tyrone Sr. and Christina Lamar. Tyrone has to deal with his grandmother's mental illness and a new life in a rural place from an urban city. He joins the Boy Scouts where he builds new relationships with others his age. He learns that everyone near him is family in this small town no matter who they are.
