For as long as history can recall, Beronnae has been divided into five kingdoms: the mountains of Telinor, the forests of Maeat, the coastal cities of Eidyn and the riverine grasslands of Dunadd and Nairn. Unable to live peacably side by side, the five kingdoms adhere to formal rules and regulations surrounding warfare, ensuring that combat is kept strictly between those men and women who have been trained to survive it.
