Picture Making

One day I had the idea of snapping a trio of off-the-cuff photos and seeing if the group gave me any ideas to write about. This collection is the result of Claudia McGill's chance thought, a year's worth of poems inspired by the most ordinary sights: a feather, windowpanes, dishes on a shelf, a road sign, leaves in the gutter. It's also a year's diary of everyday events and the emotions they call up.
