The book narrates the relationships he had with his family members, the rubber estate environment, and the school he studied in. The end of the book gives the message to the Malaysian Indian youths that they should also persevere to continue their studies and be a success. They should not give any excuse for being school dropouts. They should be good to their family, community, and the country.
