The text is a translation of emails received in different batches within the space of eighteen months originally written in a language called EurAnglish derived from English and other European and African languages. All these emails seemed to have been sent or received by a small group of people between April 2218 and January 2223! But these documents are real and do not represent a dystopian fiction. In the reality they describe, there are not that many differences between the humans of 2218 and those of 1818, 1988 or 2018. They are is not better nor worse. They just happen to live in 2218. And in 2218, the world has never been so united yet so divided. Vast confederations dominate the planet, but the world itself is divided in three watertigh Silos which no one and nothing can cross. The two confederations in the Central Silo are uncomfortable bedfellows and one of them is trying to reach out to one of the confederations of the Eastern Silo, despite strong legal and moral prohibition preventing any contacts. The sender and recipient of all these emails is Paul Freycinnet. He will be the conduit for these contacts and will try to break down the barriers. The political conundrum will become a personal one which will challenge the essence of Freycinnet himself.
