The Cowboys of the Mitten or Vaqueros dela manopla as they are known in Spanish are the subject of this collection of poems. Here I have shared my words dedicated to some of the finest cowhands and horseman I have known. In this magical land you will find a place where water is plentiful and the grass grows thick and high, bordered by deep woods and four distinct seasons.Cowboy traditions have been passed down through generations creating a style that developed between the Irish Drovers and the cowboys of Texas and Mexico. I have lived my entire life and had the privilege of being around some of the best. I hope my words capture their essence and my respect for their pride and skills passed down from this awesome group of men and women across several lifetimes. PT
