I Rise To Inspire

We have heard it said several times that music makes the world go round. I consider poetry as a form of music which has the power to inform us, draw us into places seen and unseen, encourage, soothe, and challenge us to keep persevering in the daily struggles and joys of life. Writing of any kind is not an easy task. For those who write out of the joy of writing or for those who write out of necessity as a job, writing can be a daunting task. I have often wondered about poets, who not only write like most writers do but write in various ways that speak to different people through the power of the pen.
