In the summertime of Bensonhurst Brooklyn all of the neighbors at Mirvin Hall would pitch in to create a fabulous experience every Tuesday night on Tar Beach - the rooftop of their apartment building. You see, from their rooftop vantage point, they had a amazing view of the fireworks from Coney Island. While seeing the fireworks alone was fantastic, those evenings were made even more special because each person in the building had a role to play to make the evening a success. From baking cookies, or providing flashlights or music or to put on a little piece of entertainment, everyone worked as a team to make the total evening a success for everyone. So come along for the fun and see how it was done in the 1950's with some of the best of the best from Mirvin Hall.
