Lord Abernathy Finds a Home is a story for preschool and elementary grade school children. It is a story about a nine-week old kitten who was adopted from an animal shelter and now resides in a new home. Narrated by the cat, Lord Abernathy, he tells about adjusting to his new home and not being accepted by Bobsey and Little Girl, the other two cats in residence. Despite all the snarling and growling by Bobsey, and Little Girl's unfriendliness, Lord Abernathy tries to win their friendship. * Emelda A.
