Freddy The Little Freckle

Years ago, my husband and I were visiting some friends. They had just adopted a little boy. At one point during the evening, I picked up his ball that he was tossing. When he came over to retrieve it, he looked at me and asked, "What are those spots on your face?" I told him, "Freckles." He next asked, "Why, and what do they do?" I smiled and told him, "I don't know, but at night, I feel them moving about." His eyes opened so wide, and the shocked look on his face just made everyone laugh, including him. Some years later, I remembered that and sat down and wrote a story about it. Here it is, and this is the whole truth--this really happened.
