Dreams Shattered

This novel is about when a horrific tragedy happens a person never is the same. When Stephanie Hard enters nursing school, she can't believe that she is actually there. She then becomes best friends with Shannon, who is a nice, out-going person. They begin to hang out more and more each day. When they become close they talk about anything they need too. While attending school, Steph's dad passes away with disease and she is the only one to take care of him and everything else. After the funeral is over she walks home and the most horrific thing happens to her. She then becomes a person who needs help, not only from her friend but a therapist.
