Keys 2 Jesus & Sobriety is the personal life story of Lisa Olson who overcame what seemed like the impossible. Abandoned at the age of two, by an alcoholic mother. God had a plan & purpose as he does for all of us. She was then adopted by loving Christian parents, but as an adult herself she struggled with alcoholism, military sexual trauma, PTSD. Further multiple rehabs, a serious illness & life struggles led her to the transformational power of Jesus & the Holy Spirit. She now knows the keys to permanent sobriety & overcoming lifelong addictions. Through it all she remained sober during temporary homelessness and her significant boyfriend's sudden death while keeping hope in knowing Jesus. Olson is a recovering alcoholic and Army Gulf War Veteran who has an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and studied substance abuse counseling. Inspired by the Holy Spirit in 2020 to write and share her story of past binge drinking cycles that lasted over decades, also sharing about a brief mental breakdown from PTSD and self-harm. She now speaks openly on social media platforms to help others who have suffered the same. She is currently the mother of two, grandmother of four and lives near her family in Northern Minnesota.
