Saga of a little rat

This books describes the story of a little rat in search of food and the difficulties it encounters throughout his journey. During the journey it experiences various trials including natural calamities such as tsnumai, earthquake, floods, stormy boat ride in choppy waters in the sea. It enters houses in search of food but was forced leave again for various reasons. Eventually an unexpected train ride takes the rat to a new place with plenty of food, accomodation and some company . The new place near the train station offered him a peaceful life and permanent home with humans.
