I Loved You More Last Year isn't just a statement to one individual or a group of people; it's a series of short letters for all who can relate and feel his words. In this writing, Ishmael honestly expresses the disappointment he has within himself and this so called 'land of the free' we call America. To him, this book is a piece of art.
