Third, to start at the ground level and to provide a very practical guide to starting and maintaining a successful business. If you would like to start your own business, but have no idea where to start, then read this book. If you have a business and would like to shed the burdens that it brings, then read this book. If you would like to improve your business to a more profitable and satisfying one, then read this book. If you would like to change your business from what it is today to something else, then read this book. If you would like to be a much more knowledgeable employee of the company for whom you work, then read this book! The information in Business Made Simple will benefit at least three categories of readers: People who wish to go into business themselves, become entrepreneurs, anywhere in the world, crossing cultural lines if needed. People who wish to help others become established in a business of their own, andPeople who wish to use these principles to become more valuable employees in the company in which they work.Ed Rowse was born in New Rochelle, NY and at age 4 moved to a "family farm" in rural New Hampshire. In 1959 at the University of New Hampshire in Ed was introduced to chemistry, science, business and languages. In 1963 Ed began his first career job at DuPont, became a Christian and met his future wife. Unusual opportunities came to Ed at DuPont when he was entrusted with resources to start businesses. He built 2 plants in West Virginia, one in Ohio, one in the Netherlands, and lead modifications of existing plants in the Netherlands and Texas. The invaluable lessons were learned about: conceiving a business, initial conception, design, buying equipment, project management, hiring people, start up and continuing operations. Today, retired from DuPont, Ed is engaged in mission trips to 90 countries teaching Christian business topics, advising businesses and teaching the principles contained in this book
