This issue of Studies in Scottish Literature, the longest-running international journal in its field, includes articles by Nigel Leask on Philosophic Vagabonds (two students on a walking tour in the Highlands in 1801), Penny Fielding on Walter Scott, Border Law, and BorderMinstrelsy, Gerard Carruthers on W.S.
