His Only Chance

Jane and Hilt meet at a dance at the local Y in Atlanta, Georgia. It's an event that has attracted a lot of soldiers on leave. Jane is helping out, but not looking for any involvement with anyone. She has a long-time friend/boyfriend in Marty, a friend since she was in the second grade. Hilt, however, spots her and insists they dance together. During that first dance, Jane tries to convince him that she is not interested. However, the handsome blond, blue-eyed superman-type is persistent. Not pushy, but definitely not willing to let her simply brush him off.
