This Book of poetry came from Mila's meditation and Yogi retreat on the Ancient Silk Road. From Mila's being, staying, living, traveling in Central Asia. From the ancient city of Buran in Kirgizstan, and all the way to Kazakhstan-Chinese border and beyond. Mila created project "Picnic on the Silk Road" that allowed her to freely reunite and feel free and happy and joyful at home, in Asia. She also weaves personal reflections into a poetic, visually rich piece. Distant voices from the past and echoing stories of connection, traveling, displacement, migration, nomadic life and our search for a sense of home and identity.
