Derek Fischer has always firmly believed in the value of a good day's work. As the director of the city community center, he is surrounded by hardworking people that may not have everything, but their happiness rivals the wealth of kings. Derek takes pride in being able to selflessly contribute to his community and mentor the kids in the neighborhood. So, when he suddenly finds himself the owner of a genie, er-djinn, the man is honestly at a loss. He has no need for selfish wishes of personal gain. However Alim, the seductive djinn that is now at Derek's beck and call, isn't letting him off the hook so easy.
