Philosophies Of A Young Heart Poetry Collection

A collection of poetry from author D. M. Raver. FROM THE AUTHOR Thank you for reading Philosophies of A Young Heart, A Poetry Collection. This is my second poetry book to be released. My first is titled Deep Dark Waters. As I began to collect the poetry for this book, I realized that so much of it was dark, almost depressing. It occurred to me that this was not because I am always dark and brooding (though I am at times). Poetry helps me express my feelings when I faced with the trying things in this world. One of these poems I wrote after hearing of a student in the town I worked in committed suicide. Another was after I saw a homeless woman beside the street. It's not always happy, but it's my life. And poetry is a window into the soul.
