Beyond the Eye of the Storm

Beyond the Eye of the Storm is a follow-on medical memoir from George's previous book, Hidden Heroes of our Community. This book is filled with more experiences in George's life as a community nurse; this time in the aftermath of the recent global pandemic. It's a continuation of diary entries focusing on the diverse world of community nursing, starting from the beginning of 2021 and finishing right at the end of 2023. It provides more in-depth stories with patients and their family and caregivers, which at times is interesting and uplifting, and other times emotional and heartbreaking. George once again raises the awareness of how valuable the community nursing service is for our communities.
