Symbiosis is a science fiction utopian story that invites the reader to read life through less egotistical lens. There is no more fear."The young man decides to abandon his life of solitude where his father forced him to mature away from the toxic environment in lu of the traumatic death of "I's" mother. By omitting "I" and most possessive pronouns, the reader is forced to experience this journey without identity, which ultimately leads to a single united character to represent the entire collective consciousness.To illustrate the saturation of separation within the sick society, each character is born with bold colored skin. There is a branch of government that tries to regulate each color, allowing the caste system to form under the guise of physical differences. Some colors are more prestigious and after a time begin to imply social stereotypes. The protagonist suffers from a rare skin disease that forces his body to mutate into different colors, which allow him to perceive the levels of oppression and privilege that are publicly assumed about each caste. The story mentions "ascended masters" and artificially intelligent species that exist beyond our dimension who aide in the neo-Earth's collective evolution. Born in Connecticut, USA, Aaron Diamond wrote this story after two weeks in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The work was completed in Puerto Rico, where Aaron lives now.
