The American Dream: Around The Dinner Table

Have you ever sat around thedinner table discussing religion andpolitics? If you grew up in my familyyou tended to just eat your food, discuss how your day went, and then beexcused from the table. There was theoccasional, you are going to vote forthis guy or that guy is an idiot in myhouse, but there really were no deepdescriptions of politics in general, unless my grandmother was present. Iremember my father implying that Ishould never go to the dark side as hecalled them. As with any teenager, Itended to do the opposite of what theirparent implied.This book will explore personalexperiences and experiences from dinnertables across the country. We willalso look at the years from 1962-2015, which I contemplate as the years ourfreedoms died. Plausible deniabilityfrom our government regarding mattersof Constitutional rights, which wereguaranteed from our founding fathers, will be explored. Should we as anation, sit idly by as our governmentcontinues to garnish our freedoms?What will you do if and when theeconomy crashes? Is there a reason whywe have internment camps set up by thegovernment that was created to protectits citizens? These are a few of thequestions that I explore throughout thepages in the book. This will be a truetestament to the will of our country, which is utterly protected by the FirstAmendment to the Constitution.Together we will have a betterunderstanding of where our country isheaded and where we came from as asociety. I question how many familiesdo sit down and eat and congregatetogether each evening in their homes, the data would probably be staggeringto say the very least.If you were to walk into virtuallyany establishment around the country, you might see several men and womendrinking coffee and discussingpolitics.
