It's me. Chris Heart. That's what they call me. It is not my given name. It is just one of my identities. But this a love-at-first-sight love story is not about me. It is about Sofia. Like the legendary mermaid, she didn't have a voice. She was a mute college student who also working for the library. Her beauty was mesmerizing. I looked at her like her eyes were newly discovered planets. I wanted to know all about them. All their oceans, forests, deserts and their satellites. I had become a satellite myself. I was revolving around her with the hope of getting close to her. Like a moth circling around the fire, I was ready to be burned.Our lives are mostly shaped by our fears.
