Katzele and the Silver Candlesticks

Rosie and Vigdor are determined to save Rosie's father, Reb Giser, from the salt mines. Along the way they are helped by a little black and white cat, Rosie's silver sabbath candlesticks, and a kind Russian soldier, Dubinsky. Dubinsky was kidnapped as a young Jewish boy to serve in the Czar's army and, despite the dangers, decides to help the two children get Reb Giser out of the salt mines and on his way to America.
