Georg Unger maintains in this book that human thinking is not limited to the thinking subject. The ability to communicate ideas and concepts from one individual to another is not based subjectively on the similarity of brain functions. Rather, when we form concepts appropriate to our experience, the content of these thoughts has to do essentially with what we think about. In other words, one's thoughts are part of the very world we want to know.
