Well, suddenly and unexpectedly, to put it mildly, fifty years just passed, and we had our 50th Wedding Anniversary! What a great surprise for my wife Sophia and for me! Then we decided to celebrate our anniversary writing this book with over 200 of the best photographs, taken over these last glorious 50 years.From Boston to Tokyo, Washington to Paris, New York to Rome, Venice to Helsinki, and many other places between, we have a large variety of wonderful images, with detailed explanations.On July 22nd, 2014, we also celebrated the 499th Wedding Anniversary of Anna of Bohemia and Karel van Ferdinand of Austria (1515), 427 years from the establishment of the 2nd English colony on Roanoke Island off North Caroline (1587), 328 years from the foundation of Albany, NY (1686), 218 years from the foundation of Cleveland, Ohio, (1796) by General Moses Cleveland, 85th Wedding Anniversary of the American playwright Eugene O'Neill and actress Carlotta Monterey (1929), and 45 years and 2 days from the first walking on the Moon by Neil Armstrong (1969 - we vividly remember how then, while we also celebrated our 5th anniversary, the world united, celebrated and rejoiced in a way never seen before or since).The brain contains about 100 billions of neurons. This book is a very good occasion to make them all happy!
