This book contains the curriculum materials of the Math Challenge courses at Areteem Institute. The math competitions for middle and high school students generally do not involve college mathematics such as calculus and linear algebra. There are four main topics covered in the competitions: Number Theory, Algebra, Geometry, and Combinatorics. The problems in the math competitions are usually challenging problems for which conventional methods are not sufficient, and students are required to use more creative ways to combine the methods they have learned to solve these problems.
