Elise Fare has a BFA in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She served as a WAC in the U.S Army. She served as an Illustration and later as a civilian illustrator for TRADOC and as an Arts Specialist for the Army Arts and Crafts branch of MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreational Division). Ms. Fare is a retired CEX Librarian 1 from the Jacksonville Public Library. She quits with the First Coast Quilters Guild. has won many ribbons for her quilts and has two quilts published by two different authors. Ms. Fare is a member of the River City Writers branch of the Florida Writers Association. She is also the author and illustrator of Just Me which is based on her three beautiful granddaughters from one of her two sons.
