A Home for Oreo

This children's book weaves themes of adoption, blended families, and diversity into the story of Oreo, the classroom bunny. A Home for Oreo is a story about a Dutch rabbit, named Oreo, who our family adopted from my daughter's third grade science room. The reader is then taken on our adventures with Oreo after we "adopted" him from the science room, along with how Oreo found a place in all of our hearts while he found a home. Themes of adoption and diverse family types emerge.
