God called Esther a type of Savior and used her to deliver her people from destruction. Mordecai recognized that Esther had been called as a deliverer, and he wasted no time in calling on her to deliver the Jews. Just like Esther, Jesus was chosen to deliver us from the powers of darkness. However, we must first recognize Him as our deliverer before He can deliver us. When we call upon Him for deliverance, He will deliver us, and that is the message of the Bible. I pray that, through this devotional, I will be able to point you to the one who can deliver you from death and destruction: Jesus Christ.
