EVANGELOS "EVAN" RIGAKIS is a Greek-Canadian. He was born in Ottawa, Canada where he was schooled in psychology and the fine arts. Born into a long line of oracles and was initiated into the Mysteries at the age of thirteen. Since the age of thirteen he has been studying and practicing every esoteric/occult religion, tradition and system he could find. Evan grew to become a high ranking member of several esoteric/occult groups including; the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) and the Order simply known as A.'.A.'. In 1987 Evan moved to Greece where he began a fifteen-year intensive first-hand study and research into ancient Greek religion. All of which led him to father Threskia, the Hellenic Pagan Mystery Tradition.None but the gods I hear call my name, beckoning me to free them from aeons of perpetual silence. Not but my blood drives me to the well of my roots I come to know. Oh the delight, the ecstasy of Daemona raising my head to the call of my forefathers. Oh but the burden placed upon my shoulders, a delight few have enjoyed and I am Atlas rising. Hear me for I am Pan dancing in the forests of Arcadia, laughing and playing my syrinx for the world to hear. Accept this gemmed elixir as my gift, for I am Bacchus, the little horned child god. Join us in our mystery with sacred orgy, the delights and raptures of the gods are once again upon us. We sing the mysteries plain, into the day of brilliant light and into the night of delight. I am Hermes and I resurrect the dead of ancient times. I clear the sands of Chronus from the ruins and the crypt revealed. I am nothing more than an ancient Greek living in your modern day. I answer the call, for the day of silence is over and the time of joyous laughter upon us. Hail my brethren join this dance and partake in the delights of Ancient Greece. - Orpheus V
