Dad's Reflections on Psalms and Proverbs: My Points on Successful Living

After finishing my education, I was confused. It seemed like making poor decisions was my favorite pastime. I needed some points to live by. At a retreat, I heard a lecture on biblical wisdom. The speaker challenged attendees to memorize Solomon's book of Proverbs. I accepted the challenge, and it paid off. While memorizing Proverbs, Solomon's dad, David, captured my attention. He lived a very full life filled with either passion or despair, with little between. I believe he faced boredom only once and paid dearly for it. He needed some points to live by. This short book gives my points to live by, using David's psalms, his son's sayings, and my application.
