More Than a Paper Doll is a story of purity lost and found. The book chronicles about 12 of the toughest years of my life which started with my decision to run away from an abusive home at 17 years old. I quickly found myself miles from my rural home in Trinidad, living against my will, among sex workers in Port of Spain, the island's capital city. Penniless and emotionally scarred from a brutal date rape, I became entangled in lucrative world of sex trafficking and started working as a high-end call girl. My life soon spiraled out of control into drug abuse, alcoholism. In desperate need for peace and answers, I escaped by experimenting with witchcraft, necromancy, New Age, voodoo, and the like. Suicidal thoughts were my constant companion. I was destined to carry out my plans until one fateful day when I encountered a woman who seemed to have nothing but had more peace and faith than I had ever known. This book is written for seekers, lost in pain and abuse. It contains some graphic scenes, which are not suitable for small children. I took care not to contain any sexual references that are not pertinent to the storyline. Many have been inspired by my testimony.
