In the following stories, nothing bad happens to the doggies (or the quilt) but the same can't be said for Ruth. She won the right to experience all the madness these writers could throw at her, and they were more than happy to oblige. Welcome to the 4th edition of Recurring Nightmares, the Special Raffle Prize of the annual Monster Mash for Literacy Bash, hosted by the Great Lakes Association of Horror Writers.
