In order to address the climate crisis and the loss of agrobiodiversity while ensuring sustainable food security, it has become essential to mobilize trans-disciplinary enterprises that promote integrative agendas amongst the otherwise fragmented fields of molecular genetics, plant breeding, genetic conservation, physiology, ecology, seed delivery, and food policy.
