Automated Software Testing

The focus of this research was on automating the software testing process of software development in industry. Standard software engineering principles were adhered to during the design, development, implementation and testing of the system. The project was implemented using the Expect/Tcl programming language. The application resided on a UNIX operating system. The design was built upon the concept of expandability, facilitation of code reuse and ease of maintenance such that the system can be expanded with relative limited complexity to other spheres of automation.
