This monograph presents a study of the antimicrobial properties of medicinal plants growing in Uzbekistan. In light of growing interest in plant-based pharmaceuticals, the government actively supports the cultivation and processing of local medicinal flora. The work highlights the importance of developing effective, low-toxicity antibacterial agents derived from natural sources. Emphasis is placed on the benefits of phytotherapy, including better patient tolerance and minimal side effects. The monograph is intended for master's students of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, particularly those specializing in pharmaceutical biotechnology.
