Management in Family Businesses

Family businesses are the majority worldwide, and in addition to business, they involve affection, intimacy, and personal issues. When these aspects come to the fore and there are communication failures, there can be difficulties in relationships between employees, managers, and family members. The main objective of this study was to analyze and show the role of the Executive Secretary in Family Businesses as a facilitator, using administrative tools to improve productivity and collaborate with the organization. Topics such as management, leadership, and communication are also described. The new skills of the Executive Secretary are also addressed, showing their evolution in the profession. It shows that the Executive Secretary is of great importance in the corporate environment. Their multifunctionality and ethics-based performance contribute to the organization, its clients, and especially the business family.
